Easter Egg Mishaps

I decided it would be fun to color Easter eggs with the Ormiston children on Monday night while I was babysitting. I needed 12 colored eggs for a special Italian Easter Braid that my mom always made growing up, and I now carry on that tradition.
It was gorgeous outside so I decided it would be easiest to color the eggs out there. In the first 5 minutes the blue dye cup had gotten tipped over and there was blue dye all over the table. Luckily it was a plastic one that had been sitting outside all winter, so it was fine - just a little blue now. I tried to scoop as much of the blue water back into the cup to hopefully save some of the dye, and added more water. Now, my hand was blue. After I filled the blue cup back up and came outside, the green cup got knocked over! Yeah, there was no saving that one. It was knocked off the table and half of it spilled on Maddy's capris, leg and sandal. That made me sick. The kids had told me they just pulled their Spring clothes out and were wearing new outfits! (Praise the Lord for Wisk - took the dye right out)
Needless to say, the kids had fun. But I am not sure how many of the colored eggs I can actually use in the braid. About half of them were dropped and all cracked. I had a good time too!
