Yllana Gracie

My brother Marty, and his wife Selena are living with us in Minneapolis until August when they plan to return to China. I am very happy about this because I got to meet my 2nd niece. Their first-born, Yllana Gracie, was born March 26th, 2006 at 4:31am. She weighed 9 lbs 4 oz and she is 21 inches long. She was delivered by a midwife in a kiddie pool in our basement.

Marty says, "Selena really did a great job and the midwife only had to catch
her. She came out in the pool with her eyes wide open. It was probably the most amazing
thing I've ever seen. After some stimulation she cleared her throat, by
herself, and screamed to exercise her lungs a little. Praise the Lord for his graciousness."
