Camping Trip!

My sister, Karise, and I took 3 girls from my Sunday School class camping. It was their reward for memorizing verses. None of these girls had ever been camping before so it was quite the experience for them. They were most fascinated with the water pump. We camped at Rice Creek which is normally about 30 minutes outside of the Twin Cities - when you don't get stuck in traffic like we did!

I didn't get much sleep that night. A nearby campsite decided to have a fire and talk till about 4 in the morning, plus the girls were cold in the middle of the night and didn't sleep well. One of the girls had a tank top on and only 2 thin blankets to sleep under. So, in the middle of the night I had her spread out her 2 blankets under us, then opened up my sleeping bag and put that and my extra blanket over us. That was much warmer!
